Weekend Music

I simply cannot stop listening to this song. It's perhaps better than the original, which had a funky and playful vibe. Florence Welch added seduction and emotional depth, I had no idea the lyrics could harbor. Which proves once and for all that it's not what you say, but how you say it and I see an interesting post about how that correlates to writing.

To me, the music in this one is not nearly as good. I guess the original version was more rocking and fast paced, which I almost always like. She's got a nice voice but I'm not really a lyrics man when it comes to music. I'm more about whether it kicks my heart up a notch.

I agree with Charles. I like the original better. :-D

@ Charles & Tyhitia: The original is the original, plus I have not been around, when it was the hype, so the age gap does affect my tastes.

I am just in love with her voice and enjoy whatever she decides to sing.

Hah, more like hint towards the generation gap and your obvious amount of maturity and experience.
